The radio station 97 Rock (WGRF-FM) started the Ball Drop as a gift to listeners and the City of Buffalo upon their return to the airwaves 20 years ago. After all these years, it has become the #2 biggest New Year-Welcoming-Event in the country, the gathering at New York’s Time Square prides the first place.
